Gourdan Bird

Gourdan Bird was inspired by the distinct shape of a gourd we grew, and the numerous eagles and hawks we have in our area. It takes over a year to properly cure the gourd that was used, and hours dedicated to each feather so it was a lengthy process to bring him to life. Two types of gourd seeds were used to create the feathering texture; each placed to give it a natural flowing appearance.
